Cancer
Scares no more is a website created for the presentation of the activities launched
by Cancer Detection Society of India through its various projects in India
and abroad.

Cancer
is a dreaded disease. We know the disastrous dissemination not only destroys the
diseased but the entire family faces the ordeal.
|
|
Therefore,
the urgency of the situation was realized and it was decided to reach to such
vulnerable segments of the society to deliver comprehensive primary cancer prevention
services to these people who needed it the most.
|
|
Our endeavour
took a good start with the theme -"Prevention of cancer by early detection"
as early as 1988. The various achievements in this direction are very humbly presented
in this website.

The Society was founded by Dr. Suraj Verma MBBS MS FICS (USA) registered on 3rd Jan, 1991 under the society ACT XXI--1860 NO-S/21603 The work is done and being done with the aims mentioned, "To control and contain cancer" by creating Awareness. A slide show Audio visual presentation is always organised followed by cancer detection camp. The isolated cases in these camps are further subjected to various diagnostic procedures there and then by Dr. Suraj Verma himself and subjects with confirmed diagnosis are then referred to various nearest Regional cancer centers (RCC) through our networking. The datas and findings of eachof these camps with photos are kept as confidential record with the Cancer Detection Society of India which is not available on this website. |
